Fine Art Photography

Over the past ten years, there has been an evolution in Fine Art Photography. The evolution has been from film and the darkroom to digital and the computer.

One can now make photographic prints on fine art papers that are as good as if not better than had been made in the darkroom. The fine art photographic artist can now use his camera film or digital in combination with the computer to create beautiful images.

When printed on fine art paper, they become archival for over 100 years. These types of images are know as Giclee (zhee-CLAY), a French term that means to print with a liquid spray.

I look for images that contain different shapes, textures and colors. Many of my photographs are made with natural light. One can find beauty in almost anything that one looks at. I am amazed by all the detail that I can see in the world.
